ABOUT

Alessandro Cino Zolfanelli is a London-based director and animator.

His work combines different techniques such as stop-motion, puppetry and live action and it's characterised by immersive, dreamy atmospheres.

His debut animated short film, BLACK EYED DOG (2022), won several awards worldwide and was acquired by the french broadcasting platform Canal + in 2023.

​

In 2025 he graduates from the National Film and Television School with TETHERED, a stop-motion animated short film.
